A Small field due to weather conditions which earlier in the day were pretty wet, but the event was totally dry! A medium strength breeze from the west made the long outward leg hard going for many, but still two riders managed to get into the 21's.
Club winner Kevin Hardwick confirmed a move up a level with his second sub "21" in two weeks. Ben Elderton, after being persuaded before the start to modify his somewhat unconventional saddle angle, defied the slower conditions to return a 16 second improvement, so the new saddle positioning must have worked for him!
