Event Marshalling Help...
The time has come round again where if you are not puffing and panting round a time trial you are one of the great people that have offered to run an event, thank you so much!!!
Old timers to this, can you help the novices.
Any monies collected should go to the club treasurer, Zak Moore (01933 402385), or alternatively the club secretary, Simon Fitzhugh (01604 891540). They are often there on the night, if not they can be contacted by phone.
A token expense of 7.50 was agreed at the recent AGM to offset fuel costs for the person setting and collecting the course markers, or split in any way between you. This payment can be deducted from the race fee's, just document it it please.
As you will see on the
2012 race calendar, we do not have anyone yet to help with the 8th July 50 mile TT on the Earls Barton course, in conjunction with the Kettering CC.....all offers of assistance welcome please!
Liz and Michael.

Junior duo of George Fox (45RC) and Joel Lewis (Kettering) produced attacking performances in blustery conditions for round 9 of the Imperial Winter Road Race Series at the Hillingdon race track - only to finish outside the leading positions.
Fox settled for 6th place behind winner Stuart Williams (Reading) in the 40km, 4th category race after launching a late solo bid for victory. Lewis attacked off the front in the early stages but eventually finished down in the main body of the field in 38th place. Three positions ahead of him was club-mate Josh Monger who showed great determination to stay on the pace in his road racing debut. Fox's performance earned him enough British Cycling ranking points to move up to a 3rd Cat level.
Tom Kruger (45RC) contested the Elite event at the West London circuit, finishing 14th overall after an early break of 8 riders stayed clear to contest the finish where series leader Jamie Pine (London Dynamo) emerged the winner.
Well done to George and Tom.
