Please individually complete following 2017 60th Anniversary Weekend Ride participation survey by end of day 31st January.
The 2017 60th Anniversary 45RC Peak District Whitsun Weekend Rides will take place over the long Whitsun/Spring bank holiday weekend of 27th-29th May.
You are encouraged and free to join any combination of rides that suits you:-
Ride 1:- Saturday 8am 27th May - Great Doddington to Peak District – circa 80-100 miles
Ride 2:- Sunday 10am 28th May - Peak District Club Run – circa 60 miles (mile per year!)
Ride 3:- Monday 8am 29th May - Peak District to Great Doddington – circa 80-100 miles
The main 60th anniversary club run on Sunday 28th May will start at 10am to allow for folks who want to drive up to the Peak District on the day.
All rides will be strictly social and tailor paced to ensure all participants are able to complete reasonably comfortably and within the group at all times. Due consideration will be given to those completing all three days. Groups may be split by ability if numbers allow and to increase safety if needed. Nevertheless riders should take Individual responsibility to ensure they are fit enough to safely complete the combination of rides they enter at a moderate pace and to ensure their bike is in a well maintained condition.
Further details on café stops etc. to follow once routes are planned.
Base location in the Peak District is yet to be confirmed and will be dependent on participation numbers and accommodation availability etc. We are ideally aiming to find a location with a couple of pubs / good hearty food to ensure those staying overnight have a good evening and can replenish reserves for their next ride.
We are also looking to provide logistical support to ferry kit and overnight bags for riders taking part 27th and or 29th, if you can help with this it would be appreciated if you make yourself known.
Riders are free to arrange their own accommodation to suit their needs if options proposed in the survey do not. The final choice of group accommodations will be published as soon as possible after 31st January.
Please complete the following survey by close 31/01/2017 to confirm your participation and accommodation commitments and support availability so we can arrange accommodation and plan routes etc.Your accommodation commitment is subject to acceptable costs and may result in non-refundable charges if you subsequently pull out.

#7: 2017 60th Anniversary Dinner Evening.
The annual boxing day 45 Road Club Beer & Puddin' TT, held on the "Old" circuit (9.7 miles) was held as normal this year with an excellent turnout again, with 8 2-up teams, one of which ended up running as two individuals as they lost each other before their start time!
Many thanks to all the riders taking part and to Anthony and John for their assistance with the pushing off, and Helen for the images.
See you all next season in the 45 Raod Club TT Series of events.
A big thanks to Rob for organising the experience and to David for coming up and taking all the pictures in the gallery.
Dates for the 2016 Club TT Series have been finalised and the calendar is now available in the "Racing" section menu. There are slots still vacant in the duty roster, so if you want your points to count in the TT Trophy series get your name down!
